Climate Change
Currently we’ve got quite a discussion about climate change and terrifying prognoses for the future. Terrifying for us because it’s going to be incredible hot, or incredible cold, because disasters like floods, hurricanes, tornados, and fires will hit our homes and the ones we care about.
Many “experts” claim that mankind disturbs the balance of nature. It’s clear that we change the world, but there never was a balance. The world always changes, it always changed and will change until our earth is a cold rock.
The only thing we do is to change our environment, and the question is whether we are able to adapt fast enough to those changes? Can we evolve fast enough to breathe Carbon Dioxide? Can we life at higher temperatures?
Whether or not mankind is able to adapt, other organisms will survive1. Of course it’s sad, but does it matter?
1 For example Cockroaches: These fascinating creatures can take 6-15 times more radiation than a human, and they can even eat the glue from the back of stamp.
